All the King’s Men

For years the Almaguin Highlands region had been without a men’s ministry. There were many churches in the area, many with smaller congregations, so God birthed the idea of establishing an inter-denominational men’s ministry to serve the area. Many of the local churches were approached and saw the vision and were behind its start up.  So, All The King’s Men ministry was established and held their first breakfast meeting at the South River Senior’s building on March 21, 2009 to share the vision. It was well received as approximately 60 men attended, including pastors, and church leaders.

The vision for “All The King’s Men” was for the Christian men in our community to stand united in Christ regardless of denomination, to share in what we have in common, and to focus of what is important to God….building up one another, the community, and His Kingdom.

ATKM ministry through fellowship meetings like our semi-annual breakfasts bringing in guest speakers from abroad, horseshoe tournaments, work projects, and raising funds for projects & Christmas Blessing, have all contributed to reaching out into our community with the intention of improving lives one need at a time, thus building up one another, our community, and God’s Kingdom.

God has enabled this ministry to broaden its horizon as it now reaches from Burks Falls through to North Bay.  Since the early days of ATKM ministry, one of the most exciting things that has taken place was the collaboration with a leadership team and their church’s youth group from the Vineland area. We have completed several work projects over the years helping and encouraging many individuals….improving lives one need at a time.

A sincere thank you to all who have participated in this ministry in one form or another to the success it has experienced to date….to God be the Glory!!
